Saudi Crown Prince Discusses Bilateral Ties with UAE

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held telephonic talks with the newly appointed top officials of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency the Crown Prince felicitated the officials on their new leadership roles and hoped that the new development would further enhance the United Arab Emirates’ path towards progress and development. The leaders also highlighted the solid bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, during the telephonic conversation. Earlier, King Salman and the Crown Prince also sent cables of congratulations to the president of UAE on the new appointments.

UEA-KSA Ties

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed had appointed his eldest son Sheikh Khaled as the crown prince of Abu Dhabi. He also named his brother Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan as vice president of the United Arab Emirates. Similarly, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al-Nahyan were appointed as the deputy rulers of Abu Dhabi.
