JEDDAH: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday congratulated Cambodia’s new Prime Minister, Hun Manet, on his assumption of office, Arab News reported. In a cable, the Crown Prince wished the new PM and his nation further prosperity and progress, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Cambodia’s legislators endorsed Hun Manet, as the new PM on Tuesday. In his first cabinet meeting on Thursday, the new Prime Minister promised wide-ranging economic reforms aimed at making his country a “high-income country” by 2050.
“The upcoming 25 years will be a new cycle for the country,” the new PM said in a speech.
