RIYADH: Adel Al-Jubeir, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Affairs Envoy, engaged in a series of meetings with ministers and high-ranking officials during the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Adel Al-Jubeir held an important meeting with Bahrain’s Minister of Oil and Environment, Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina. Their discussions centered on addressing the impacts of climate change, reflecting the growing importance of environmental concerns on the global agenda.
Further conversations on climate change and other pertinent matters were held with the United Nations’ Deputy Secretary-General, Amina J. Mohammed, and Dennis Francis, the President of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Saudi Climate Envoy Holds Fruitful Discussions
Adel Al-Jubeir also held fruitful discussions with Prince Jamie de Bourbon, the Climate Envoy for the Netherlands, and Jennifer Lee Morgan, State Secretary and Special Envoy for International Climate Action at the Federal Foreign Ministry of Germany. These interactions underlined the collaborative efforts of nations to combat climate change on an international scale.
Minister Al-Jubeir took the opportunity to review bilateral ties and explore international and regional developments with foreign ministers from various countries. These included Alvaro Leyva Duran of Colombia, Albert Ramdin of Suriname, and Ana Cecilia Gervasi Diaz of Peru. These meetings provided a platform to foster stronger diplomatic relations and discuss key regional and global issues.
