RIYADH: The Riyadh International Book Fair organized a seminar on its first day, shedding light on the Chinese culture and discussing the enhancement of the friendship bonds between Saudi Arabia and China.
The seminar discussed supporting cultural and political ties and promoting intellectual communication between China and the Arab world.
The editor-in-chief of the Arabic version of China Today newspaper professor Xue Qingguo underscored the significant progress Saudi Arabia is witnessing in all fields, Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
He commended Saudi Arabia for opening its doors to friends from all over the world, making societal progress, and providing opportunities for new generations.
Saudi efforts to diversify economy hailed
The Chinese academic also appreciated Saudi efforts to diversify its sources of income, turning the Kingdom into a “paradise on Earth” and lauding Saudi Vision 2030,
He appreciated the collaboration between Saudi Arabia and China and the attention given to the Chinese language.
Xue Qingguo also commended the importance of enhancing the distinctive Saudi-Chinese historical, political, and cultural ties and cooperation.
