JEDDAH: The Saudi cabinet on Tuesday reiterated to take credible and practical steps to reach a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The cabinet session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud welcomed the new advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice regarding the illegality of Israeli presence in the occupied Palestinian territories for the past 57 years.
Minister of Media Salman bin Youssef Al-Dossary in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the session, said that the cabinet discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, and the continuous efforts taken by the Kingdom to end the war on Gaza and support peace efforts in Yemen.
It also called on the international community, particularly the active and influential parties, to assume its responsibilities and stop regional tensions.
The Saudi cabinet also approved the Anti-Corruption Authority Law. During the meeting updates were provided on recent diplomatic communications, including fruitful discussions between the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, with leaders from France, Russia, and Iraq. These talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across various domains.
At the domestic level, the cabinet reviewed the latest economic developments and key indicators, including the stabilization of inflation rates at low levels, lower than the international target, attributed to the robustness of the Saudi economy and the effective steps and policies implemented to address the ramifications of raising prices at the global level.

The cabinet also approved bilateral employment agreements with Gambia and Tanzania, as well as tax agreements with Kuwait and Gambia to prevent tax evasion. These agreements highlight Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering strong international labor and economic ties.
The cabinet affirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to environmental conservation efforts, including the 2030 Seagrass Breakthrough and a memorandum of understanding with Bahrain for sustainable waste management.
