Jeddah: Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet has reviewed the outcomes of the discussions and meetings held in recent days between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and various countries and organizations, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the cabinet session held in Jeddah.
The review focused on friendship relations; bilateral and multilateral cooperation ties in all sectors, especially concerning global security and stability; and promoting principles of development, progress, and cultural advancement in all sectors, the SPA reported.
According to the SPA, the cabinet followed up on the latest events and developments regionally and globally, reiterating what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed during its participation in the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) meetings. This includes emphasizing the significance of all efforts to achieve an immediate truce in Gaza and its surroundings, pursue a just and lasting peace, and enable the Palestinians to attain their legitimate rights in establishing an internationally recognized independent state.
In a statement to the SPA after the Cabinet session, Minister of Media Salman bin Youssef Al-Dossary indicated that the Cabinet addressed local affairs, including the current programs and initiatives aimed at present development and future readiness.
Moreover, the cabinet praised efforts towards enhancing the participation of Saudi youth in development paths, empowering the labor market to accommodate more national workers, and decreasing the unemployment rate, which is close to the target set by the Saudi Vision 2030 at 7 percent.
The cabinet meeting also reviewed its agenda items, some co-studied by the Shura Council, and was briefed on the conclusions reached by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Council for Political and Security Affairs, the Cabinet’s General Committee and the Cabinet’s Bureau of Experts.
