ABHA: Border Guard land patrols in the Aseer region of Saudi Arabia have foiled an attempt to smuggle 220 kilograms of khat, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
Legal action was taken, and the khat was handed over to the relevant authority.
Security authorities are advising the public to report any information pertaining to drug smuggling or selling by calling 911 in Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern regions, or 999 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. The public may also contact the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995 or via email at [email protected].
