Saudi Arabia’s KSrelief Clears 755 Mines in Yemen

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency, KSrelief, has successfully cleared 755 mines across Yemen, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.

The clearance was part of the Masam Project, an initiative dedicated to removing land mines in the war-torn country.

During the fourth week of June, the project dismantled a total of 755 devices. This included 707 unexploded ordnances, 47 anti-tank mines, and one explosive device.

The Masam Project has made significant progress since its inception, with a total of 449,068 explosives cleared from Yemeni land.

The Kingdom, through KSrelief, remains committed to the goal of ridding Yemeni lands of all explosives to ensure the safety and security of its people.

This ongoing effort reflects Saudi Arabia’s dedication to humanitarian aid and regional stability.
