ISLAMABAD/RIYADH: Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz visited the headquarters of BAE Systems in Wharton in the county of Cumbria during a visit to the United Kingdom.

Britain’s Royal Air Force Chief of Air Staff Sir Mike Wigston, received Khalid bin Salman on his arrival at the company’s headquarters, a British multinational arms, security and aerospace company.
During the visit, Khalid bin Salman was briefed on the superior capabilities of the Typhoon aircraft and its combat systems and the company’s future plans and strategies, including the program for future combat air capabilities, the development of air systems.
The Saudi defence minister was also briefed on ways to strengthen the existing partnership between the UK and the Kingdom, which extends for more than 50 years.
The Saudi defence minister also visited the company’s aviation systems development and design site and he was briefed on a number of models of Typhoon aircraft and modern systems used in aviation. APP
