b: Saudi Arabia’s Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has received a certificate from the General Authority for Competition attesting to its compliance program.
Granting such certification is a GAC initiative that focuses on ensuring that establishments comply with set controls and standards, rules, and regulations and avoid violations of the Competition Law.
Certificate a Testimony to SABIC’s Commitment
Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, SABIC CEO, said that being awarded this certificate is proof of SABIC’s commitment to the highest standards of compliance and its interest in integrating governance needs into different procedures, according to Saudi media.
He said that transparency is one of the top priorities of SABIC in the endeavor to achieve sustainable growth, effective transformation, and a strong relationship with its customers, partners, and shareholders.
Al-Fageeh appreciated GAC’s effort to keep pace with the development of the business field in Saudi Arabia, instill a culture of responsibility, nurture fair competition, and improve the investment climate to meet the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
