RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Sunday received UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper and discussed regional developments.
During the meeting at the foreign ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance and develop these ties across various fields, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and ongoing joint efforts to promote security and stability.
The meeting was also attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Political Affairs, Saud Al-Sati, Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, and Mohammed Al-Yahya, advisors to the foreign minister.
Last month, UK Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds said that Saudi Arabia and the UK are set to strengthen their economic ties through more than £360 million ($445 million) in joint investments.
