RIYADH: Saudi Arabis’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance will organize the Mali National Competition for Memorization and Interpretation of the Holy Quran from January 19 to 23, in the capital, Bamako, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
According to the SPA the competition will be held with cooperation with the Union of Holy Quran Memorization Centers and Schools in Mali.
The competition will feature 100 male and female contestants from all regions of Mali.

The organization of this competition is testimony to the Kingdom’s efforts to care for and disseminate the teachings of the Holy Quran. It also shows the ministry’s efforts to motivate Muslim youths around the world to memorize the Quran.
