RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly rejected and condemned in strongest words the storming of Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque by an Israeli official, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

The ministry in a statement also condemned Israeli Knesset’s adoption of a decision rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian State.

It said the Kingdom affirmed that these continued hostile practices towards Islamic sanctities and international resolutions and laws reflect the aggressive approach of the Israeli occupation authorities.

The ministry stressed that these practices hinder any progress aimed at saving innocent blood and achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
