RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by extremists under the shield of the Israeli occupation forces, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
In an official statement, the Saudi foreign said these practices are considered an open violation of all international norms and conventions, and provoked feelings of Muslims around the world.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Israeli occupation forces were fully responsible for the consequences of these continued violations. It stressed the international community to undertake its responsibilities to end the escalation of the Israeli occupation, give the necessary protection for civilians, and use all efforts to end this conflict.
