RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has condemned the targeting of medical, relief, and media personnel by the Israeli occupation forces at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The foreign ministry, in a statement on Monday, stressed the Kingdom’s rejection of Israel’s ongoing violations of international law and norms.
“The Kingdom reiterates its call on the international community to put an end to these Israeli crimes and emphasises the need to protect medical, relief, and media personnel,” it said.

An Israeli airstrike hit the fourth floor of southern Gaza’s main hospital on Monday, killing at least 20 people, Gaza’s health ministry said.
The ministry said the victims on the fourth floor of Nasser Hospital were killed in a double-tap strike — one missile hitting first, then another moments later as rescue crews arrived.
The victims of the strike included four journalists, Palestinian health officials said.
According to media watchdogs, around 200 journalists have been killed in nearly two years of war between Israel and Hamas.
Israeli attacks on hospitals in Gaza are not uncommon. Several medical facilities across the Strip have been hit or raided, with Israel justifying the strikes by alleging the presence of fighters operating from within—claims that have been made without presenting supporting evidence.
