In a statement released by the foreign ministry on Wednesday morning, the Kingdom conveyed its heartfelt sympathies and wished a swift recovery for those injured.
800 People were Present at Wedding Hall
The devastating fire erupted during a wedding event on Tuesday night at a venue in the northern Iraqi town of Qaraqosh, as reported by officials early Wednesday. Reports say that at least 800 people were present at the wedding hall at the time of fire broke out.

Iraq’s Interior Ministry took action by issuing four arrest warrants for the owners of the wedding hall, as reported by state media. President Abdul Latif Rashid also called for a thorough investigation into the incident.
