New Sporting ambitions show Saudi Arabia wants its investors to take over Liverpool, Manchester United.
Saudi Arabia has said that it wanted its investors to invest in taking over Manchester United and Liverpool – and hopes Cristiano Ronaldo will come to the tournament on their home turf.
Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal has revealed Saudi Arabia’s latest sporting ambitions during an interview with Sky News. This economic investment once owned Newcastle and supports an explosive golf course.
Ronaldo will be keen to sign for the Saudi Pro League after the World Cup, with the 37-year-old a free agent following this week’s surprise exit from United.

“Who wouldn’t want to go to his club? Prince Abdulaziz told Sky News. “He is a role model for many young people – along with Messi.”
The vision will see the Saudi League with Ronaldo and Messi, who is still signed by Paris Saint-Germain but has already signed up to promote Saudi Arabia.
“It has been very beneficial in terms of tourism for the kingdom,” said Prince Abdulaziz. “If they can, I would like to see both of them play the Saudi game.”
