Saudi Arabia Ranks Second Most Favorable Global Tourist Destination

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has become world’s second most favorable tourist destination in the current year according to the latest report of the World Tourism Organization, Saudi Gazette reported on Tuesday.

Kingdom recorded 58% growth rate in 2023

According to the global index the Kingdom recorded a growth rate of 58 percent in the first seven months of 2023 as compared to the same period in 2019.

These results demonstrate the outstanding achievements made by the Kingdom in the tourism sector and its leadership role in the important area.

Recently Saudi Arabia hosted different activities of the World Tourism Day from September 27 and 28 in Riyadh.

Saudi Minister of tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb has said that these accomplishments would not have been possible without the support that the tourism sector is enjoying from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

It is pertinent to mention that these accomplishments enhance the Kingdom’s position as a famous global tourist destination. The significant increase in the number of the tourists shows travelers’ confidence in the Saud Arabia’s attractive tourism options and their diversity.
