GAZA: Saudi Arabia has provided 25,000 hot meals to vulnerable groups across the central and southern Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing humanitarian assistance.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), through its central kitchen, is carrying out the project, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.

The aid is part of an ongoing Saudi fundraising campaign to deliver emergency humanitarian relief to the Palestinian people in the strip, underscoring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steadfast humanitarian commitment to assisting communities in need worldwide.
Saudi Arabia to sponsor 1,500 orphans in Gaza
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has also signed a joint executive programme with the Saudi Centre for Culture and Heritage to implement an emergency response project to sponsor orphans and families who have lost their breadwinners in Gaza Strip.
The programme provides for monthly sponsorship payments of $100, clothing, school bags, and stationery, along with recreational activities and toy distributions for orphans, to strengthen social and economic security for them and their families, the SPA reported.

The project will directly benefit 1,500 orphaned boys and girls and indirectly benefit 4,500 family members and caregivers, with mechanisms for digital verification, disbursement, accountability, and safe referral.
Saudi Arabia urges global action to end Israeli violations in Gaza
Last month, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan renewed the Kingdom’s call on the international community to assume its responsibilities by taking practical steps to halt Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

Prince Faisal was speaking at the Arab-Islamic countries Ministerial Meeting in Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites, hosted by Jordan.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s position that East Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine, stressing that all unilateral measures, including settlement expansion and land confiscation, are illegal and cannot alter the city’s legal status or create legitimate rights.
He also reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection of actions aimed at changing Jerusalem’s historical and legal status or undermining its Islamic and Christian identity. He dismissed attempts to invoke freedom of worship to justify measures that seek to impose a new political reality under occupation.
