MAKKAH: The Saudi Ministry of Health, through the “Seha Virtual Hospital,” has launched a suite of digital medical consultation services in seven languages for pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The initiative provides easy, round-the-clock healthcare access from any location in line with the Saudi Vision 2030, particularly the Health Sector Transformation Programme and the Pilgrim Experience Programme, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
Pilgrims can access 24/7 medical consultations through the unified hotline 937, the “Sehhaty” app, and the “X” platform.
To accommodate the diverse backgrounds of pilgrims, services are offered in seven languages: Arabic, English, French, Turkish, Persian, Urdu, and Indonesian. Consultations are available in audio, video, or text formats, with features allowing users to upload medical reports and test results, and receive electronic prescriptions when needed.
The “Sehhaty” app also allows pilgrims to register using their border number, creating a seamless and integrated digital healthcare experience.
The Seha Virtual Hospital plays a vital role in the “Consult Plus” service, supporting more than 300 permanent and temporary healthcare facilities across Makkah, Madinah, and Hajj campaign headquarters. Offered in both Arabic and English, this service strengthens on-site medical response, speeds up clinical decision-making, and significantly enhances the overall quality of healthcare delivered to pilgrims.
