Saudi Arabia: New Post Stamp Commemorates AlUla World Archeology Summit

RIYADH: The Saudi Post Office issued a SAR3 commemorative stamp on Thursday to mark the AlUla World Archeology Summit.

Saudi Post stamps are a great option for stamp collectors and historians around the world because they are produced in response to the most important local, regional, and global events and occasions.

Organized by the AlUla Royal Commission, the three-day summit, which opened on September 13, brought together more than 300 participants, including government officials, scientists and specialists from around the world.

More than 80 speakers include global experts in arts, culture and heritage.

The Maraya Concert Hall, a sizable multipurpose space of the ancient mirror region nestled amidst a variety of archaeological artifacts dating from the Neolithic to the early 20th century, hosts a schedule of panels, lectures, and excursions.

AlUla is an ancient oasis city located in the northwestern province of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, which is now developing as a leading tourist destination.

AlUla World Archeology Summit, concludes on Friday.
