MAKKAH: Saudi Arabia has introduced ‘safety bracelet’ service, specifically designed for children, older people, and people with visual impairment at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
The service provided by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque enables easy identification and quick assistance within the Mosque in case of need, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
As part of a smart solution initiative, the bracelet offers peace of mind to worshippers by securely storing the contact information of their relatives or companions, and can be conveniently worn on the wrist.
This initiative reflects the authority’s ongoing dedication to improving services for Umrah performers and worshippers through a comprehensive, around-the-clock system.
It is in line with the directives of the Saudi leadership to ensure a smooth, safe, and comfortable experience for all visitors to the Grand Mosque.
