ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through its religious attaché at the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan, has launched the “Programme of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for Iftar” in Pakistan for the holy Ramadan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The program was launched at the King Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. Saudi embassy officials and directors of Saudi offices attended the Iftar.
The initiative by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs sees similar events organized by its attachés in various nations during Ramadan.
The King Faisal Mosque, along with other mosques in Pakistan, will be benefited from the initiative throughout Ramadan. Under the program meals for those breaking their fast will be provided at Iftar, during the holy month.
