RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, has directed an increase in inspections of tourist accommodations, including hotels and serviced apartments, in Makkah and Madinah during the holy month of Ramadan.
As part of the “Our Guests are a Priority” campaign, this effort aims to improve the quality of services provided to Umrah pilgrims while ensuring conformity to the tourist system and its regulations.
Al-Khateeb with the officials of the ministry personally tourist facilities in Makkah and Madinah, emphasizing the campaign’s objectives.
The ministry’s supervisory teams conducted monitoring and inspection rounds in Makkah and Madinah hospitality facilities at the start of the Umrah season during the holy month of Ramadan to enhance the quality of services, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The supervisory and inspection tours reflect the Ministry of Tourism’s commitment to serving both domestic and international visitors and pilgrims, with the aim of ensuring a high-quality experience and facilitating the smooth completion of rituals.
Visitors and Umrah pilgrims are encouraged to provide feedback on services through the Visitor Care Center at 930 or via the ministry’s official social media channels. This feedback mechanism is crucial for continuous improvement in service delivery and visitor satisfaction.
