MAKKAH: Saudi Arabia has launched a new programme to enhance guidance services for women visiting the Grand Mosque.

This initiative by Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque aligns with the directives of the Saudi leadership and supports Vision 2030, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

The programme combines Sharia principles with professional practices to enhance the competencies of the presidency’s female staff in Islamic knowledge, professional skills, and core values.

It aims to improve their performance in serving female visitors to the Grand Mosque, in line with the presidency’s mission to promote guidance globally and its commitment to providing exceptional services to women visiting the holy site.
