RIYADH: Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz received the Internal Affairs Minister of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Sadenov, in Riyadh on Thursday, during which the two sides agreed to enhance security cooperation.
They discussed ways to enhance security cooperation between the two ministries, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the meeting, they also reviewed a number of topics of mutual interest.
Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan share long‑standing diplomatic and strategic relations, based on mutual interests in political, economic, and security cooperation. Diplomatic ties were established in 1994, and both countries have since expanded collaboration in areas such as energy, investment, trade, and anti‑corruption efforts, reflecting deepening bilateral engagement.
