RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has received Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, in Riyadh and discussed the latest regional and international developments.
The Foreign Minister, in a statement on Monday, said that during the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal and historic relations between the two countries and opportunities to enhance cooperation across various fields.

In September Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Jordan Chamber of Commerce organised the Saudi-Jordanian Business Forum with the aim of developing a joint economic vision and unlocking new trade and investment opportunities.
Trade between Jordan and Saudi Arabia continues to expand, with Jordanian exports to the Kingdom reaching 612 million Jordanian dinars ($863 million) in the first half of 2025, up from 513 million dinars during the same period in 2024.
Imports from Saudi Arabia also increased to 1.4 billion dinars, compared with 1.3 billion dinars a year earlier.
It is pertinent to mention that Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, hosted King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan in August this year and discussed several key issues on the Arab and Islamic fronts, with particular focus on recent developments in Palestine.
