Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kuwait Condemns Embassies’ Storming in Sudan

RIYADH: The Saudi foreign ministry strongly condemned on Tuesday the storming of the Jordanian embassy and the storming and vandalizing of the Kuwait mission’s residence in Khartoum, Sudan.

The ministry said in a statement that the Kingdom completely rejects all kinds of violence and vandalism against missions and representations.

It added that Saudi Arabia called on all Sudanese sides to adhere to peace as agreed during the latest negotiations in Jeddah and commit to a political solution.

Other embassies

Without identifying the attackers, the Jordanian foreign ministry said in a statement on Monday that its embassy in Khartoum, Sudan, had been stormed and vandalized.

The Kuwaiti foreign ministry also said that the residence of its army office chief at the embassy in Khartoum was attacked and vandalized.

Both ministries have condemned the attacks and declared them as a violation of all international norms.
