JEDDAH: Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi has met with Italian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Roberto Cantone to discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties, Arab media reported on Sunday.
During the discussion in Jeddah, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in different sectors, particularly energy and oil.

Saudi Arabia is the largest partner of Italy in the Gulf region and second biggest in the Arab world.
Saudi Arabia, Italy agree to boost bilateral ties
Consul General in Jeddah Leonardo Costa was also present in the meeting. The two sides exchanged views on cordial discussions.
Saudi Arabia and Italy last year celebrated the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Earlier, Ambassador Roberto Cantone had said a shared commitment to dialogue and mutual understanding is the basis of strong diplomatic relations between the two countries.
