RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has received Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani and discussed the latest regional developments.
During the meeting at Al-Yamamah Palace on Tuesday, they reviewed relations between the two countries and discussed the latest regional developments, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, and President of the General Intelligence Presidency Khalid Al-Humaidan attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Saudi Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz also met with Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani.
During the meeting, the two officials reviewed Saudi-Iranian relations and discussed regional developments, focusing on efforts to enhance security and stability. They also addressed several other topics of mutual interest, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
It may be recalled that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday held talks with several Arab and Muslim leaders in Doha, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, discussed current regional developments, and explored efforts to enhance security and stability, the SPA reported.
