Saudi Arabia Hajj and Umrah Minister Stresses Providing Best Services to Pilgrims

MINA, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah continued his field inspection tours in Mina to assess the readiness of pilgrim camps, ensure the quality of services provided, and monitor the progress of pilgrims’ movement to the Jamarat facility, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The inspection is part of the direct monitoring of service providers’ performance during the Hajj season.

The SPA reported that the tour included visits to several camps affiliated with Hajj campaigns and service providers. The minister met with representatives of the companies and listened to the pilgrims, emphasising the need to provide the highest standards of care and attention, as well as a safe and comfortable environment that enables them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility, the SPA reported.

Al-Rabiah also inspected the Jamarat facility and reviewed the progress of crowd movement operations and the smooth flow of pilgrims during the ritual of casting stones, according to the SPA.

He stressed the importance of fully adhering to the approved operational plan and enhancing coordination between regulatory and service agencies to keep pace with the efforts made to serve pilgrims, in line with the directives of the wise leadership and the mobilization of all capabilities to facilitate the performance of Hajj rituals.
