RIYADH: Governor of Saudi Arabia’s Northern Borders Region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, has reviewed the progress of the plan to facilitate the Iranian pilgrims’ departure through the Jadidat Arar border crossing following the completion of this year’s Hajj.
He emphasised that these efforts reflect the Saudi leadership’s directives to ensure comprehensive care for pilgrims and streamline their departure with ease, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Prince Faisal also highlighted the significance of continued coordination among all relevant authorities to guarantee smooth procedures, precise implementation, and the delivery of high-quality services.
Earlier, several Iranian pilgrims departed Madinah via Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport, receiving comprehensive support services as they headed to Arar to continue their journey home through the Jadidat Arar crossing.
The pilgrims expressed their appreciation to the Saudi government for simplifying travel procedures and praised the services and facilities made available to them throughout their stay in the Kingdom.
