RIYADH: The Saudi aid agency has delivered vocational toolkits to 90 female trainees in Yemen as part of an empowerment project to improve livelihoods in Marib Governorate.

The training covered various fields, including food processing, livestock care, incense and perfume making, photography, background design, gift wrapping, and sewing and embroidery, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

These skills are intended to enable the beneficiaries to start their own businesses in these professions.

The project of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) aims to empower 1,500 male and female beneficiaries across several Yemeni governorates.

This initiative is part of the Kingdom’s broader humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through KSrelief, aimed at improving living conditions and creating income-generating opportunities for all segments of the Yemeni population.
