GAZA: Saudi aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has distributed vital milk supplies to children suffering from severe malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, as part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people.

The Saudi Centre for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner, executed a comprehensive distribution plan that reached thousands of the most vulnerable families across the Gaza Strip, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The families expressed their deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its urgent humanitarian response. They noted that the distribution of baby milk is essential for saving their children’s lives and curb the spread of malnutrition, particularly amid severe shortages of basic food and nutrition supplies.

This initiative reaffirms the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and addressing the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Gaza’s health authorities said on Sunday that hospitals had received the bodies of 124 people killed in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours, bringing the war death toll to 67,806 since October 2023, as Israel and Hamas prepared for a prisoner-hostage exchange under a US-brokered ceasefire.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said 117 of the 124 bodies were recovered from under rubble following overnight bombardments. Another 33 people were reported injured during the same period.

According to the ministry, 170,066 Palestinians have been wounded since Israel launched its offensive on the Gaza Strip following the Hamas-led attacks on 7 October 2023.
