RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia condemned Israel’s decision to seize land that houses the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) headquarters in East Jerusalem.
The Saudi foreign ministry called the move illegal and criticized Israel’s violation of international laws, accusing it of systematically targeting UN agencies and their workers. The Kingdom reiterated its strong support for UNRWA’s humanitarian mission for Palestinian refugees.
Israel’s Land Authority reportedly plans to confiscate the site and construct 1,440 settlement units, a move that has drawn widespread international criticism.
