Madinah: Saudi Airlines has concluded its Hajj operation for the year 2025 by bidding farewell to the final group of pilgrims departing for Indonesia from Madinah’s Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport.
The airline transported more than 808,000 Hajj pilgrims on over 4,400 flights from 145 destinations across the world, using a fleet of 147 aircraft, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
The airline implemented the “Hajj Without Baggage” initiative, handling over 270,000 pieces of luggage to streamline airport operations. In addition, more than 240,000 bottles of Zamzam water were distributed.
Onboard services included educational content developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, offering pilgrims detailed information on performing rituals in different languages.
