MAKKAH: Amidst an atmosphere of faith, joy, security, and tranquility, crowds of worshippers in Makkah performed Eid Al-Fitr prayer at the Grand Mosque this morning.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Imam of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Dr Abdulrahman Al-Sudais led the prayer and delivered a sermon, extending his congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
The SPA added that crowds of worshippers in Madinah, including Madinah Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, performed Eid Al-Fitr prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque this morning.
Sermon
Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr Abdullah Al-Buaijan led the prayer and delivered a sermon, extending his congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
Muslims across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia performed Eid Al-Fitr prayer this morning, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the SPA reported.
Following a month of fasting and prayer, worshippers gathered in large numbers from the early morning hours at designated mosques throughout the Kingdom’s cities, governorates, and villages.
