Saudi Arabia and Pakistan Sign Agreement for Hajj 2026 Arrangements

ISLAMABAD: An official agreement has been signed between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan regarding the arrangements and facilities for Hajj 2026. The agreement was signed by Saudi Deputy Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Al-Mishaat, and Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs, Dr. Syed Atta-ur-Rehman, in Jeddah last night.

The signing ceremony was attended by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, Director General of Hajj in Jeddah Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director of Hajj in Makkah Azizullah Khan, Director of Hajj in Madinah Zia-ur-Rehman, Deputy Secretary of Hajj Policy Chaudhry Kashif Hussain, and officials from the Private Hajj Companies’ Representative Organization HOAP (Hajj Operators Association of Pakistan).

Providing hospitality

Dr. Syed Atta-ur-Rehman expressed his gratitude for the excellent efforts made by the Saudi government in providing hospitality and facilities to the guests of Allah.

He mentioned that, as in previous years, Pakistani pilgrims would be provided with high-quality facilities for the upcoming Hajj.

He further assured that the Ministry of Religious Affairs is committed to completing the arrangements for both the government and private Hajj schemes in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with the directives of the Saudi government.
