RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s aid agency has continued its humanitarian efforts by delivering food assistance and shelter to tens of thousands of people across four countries facing ongoing crises.
In Yemen, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) supplied more than 100 tents in Al-Jawf governorate under an emergency relief initiative, assisting over 600 displaced individuals, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
It also distributed 660 cartons of dates to nearly 4,000 vulnerable and disabled people in the Al-Mukalla district in Hadramout.
In Mali, KSrelief provided 450 food baskets to low-income families and individuals with special needs in Bamako, benefiting around 2,700 people as part of its food security program.
Meanwhile, in Chad, the agency distributed 2,875 cartons of dates to vulnerable communities, reaching more than 17,000 individuals under a broader initiative to supply 800 tonnes of dates.
In Gaza, KSrelief’s central kitchen delivered 26,580 hot meals across central and southern areas, supporting thousands of people in need.
Additionally, 531 food baskets were distributed in Khan Younis, benefiting over 3,000 individuals affected by conflict.
