Saudi Agricultural Exhibition 2024 to be Held Soon

RIYADH: The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture is going to organize the 41st edition of the Saudi Agricultural Exhibition 2024, which will take place from October 21 to 24 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The exhibition to be held under the patronage of Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Alfadley is famed for being the region’s most prominent and prestigious agricultural event. The event features extensive global participation from representatives of 28 nations worldwide and 370 agricultural firms from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and abroad.

The annual fair is expected to attract around 20,000 specialists and stakeholders in the agriculture sector worldwide. The ministry explained in a statement that the Saudi Agricultural Exhibition aims to enhance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) national economic priorities, focusing on food security as well as sustainability. It said that the exhibition will also showcase the latest technologies and future innovations in animal, plant, and fish farming sectors, reflecting the important transformation in the agricultural field in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and its contribution to economic growth amid forecasts of investments in the field to reach $40 billion by 2030.

The ministry said that the exhibition will also feature a wide range of sectors, including agricultural innovations and technologies, products as well as services in greenhouses and irrigation, in addition to poultry, dairy products, livestock, organic foods, animal feed mills, aquaculture, food processing and packaging, animal health, as well as veterinary services.
