Saraiki Cultural Extravaganza Delights Residents of Twin Cities

ISLAMABAD: The Saraiki community residing in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi visited the Pakistan National Council of the Arts on Sunday night to witness the fun of Saraiki culture in a ‘Saraiki Cultural Program’.

The beautiful Saraiki Jhoomer, melodious folk musical show, and soul-stirring poetic symposium not only illustrated the Saraiki culture but also immersed the visitors in the cultural realm of South Punjab.

Pakistan People’s Party leader Farhat Ullah Babar participated in the event as chief guest and said Saraiki was one of the major languages in the country, encompassing a unique beauty and profound depth.

Babar said that he led the commission to establish a Saraiki province and had a strong affinity for Saraiki culture.
