KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actress, Sajal Aly is set to make debut in Tollywood upcoming movie ‘Fauji’ following her last appearance in 2017 Bollywood film ‘Mom’ alongside Sridevi. Media reports suggested that Sajal Aly will star opposite Prabhas in the upcoming film titled Fauji, whose shooting is scheduled to begin on August 24 in Hyderabad.
Although an official announcement about the lead actress is still pending, there have been rumors that other actress, such as Mrunal Thakur were also considered for the role, before Sajal Aly was reportedly cast alongside Prabhas.
Adding more excitement to the project, a talented dancer and choreographer from Delhi, Iman Esmail, is set to make her debut in the industry. This update follows the recent buzz about Fawad Khan’s possible return to Bollywood, pointing to an emerging trend of cross-border collaborations.
Sources hints that Sajal Aly’s participation in the project is almost certain, although neither Sajal nor the filmmakers have confirmed the news so far. Following the triumph of Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is set to be exploring a new genre with this film. He will work on a new film directed by Hanu Raghavpudi, reportedly a romantic period drama.
