ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the sacrifices of the martyred security officials would be remembered forever as they have lost their lives for the country amid cleansing the country of terrorism.
The president said this while talking to family members of the martyred personnel of the police and army here in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The president expressed his views while talking to the family of Police Head Constable Syed Adeel Hasnain, who lost his life in the suicide blast at I-10, Islamabad, a week before.
Arif Alvi also expressed his condolences over the telephone to the family members of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred during a blast in Kohlu, Balochistan on December 25.
These family members were relatives of Captain Muhammad Fahad Khan, Sepoy Asgharuddin, Sepoy Muhammad Shamoon and Lance Naik Muhammad Imtiaz.

Dr Arif Alvi said the whole nation was united in the war against terrorism. He added that the government of Pakistan would utilize all possible resources to support the families of the martyrs. The president also paid tribute to the martyrs for their courage, dedication to their duty, and sacrifices for the nation.
