MALDA: Senior officials claimed on Tuesday that Goa police arrested a Russian woman tourist for using a banned satellite phone.
Tourist arrested in India
The officials said that the tourist was identified as Aleksei Kamynin. It added that she was arrested for possessing and using a satellite phone.
According to officials the tourists was taken into custody from a resort where the Russian tourist was staying.

She has been booked under the local Wireless Telegraphy Act and Section 20, while the satellite phone has been seized.
