MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Moscow wants an end to the ongoing war in Ukraine, saying this conflict would inevitably involve a diplomatic resolution.

The Russian President’s statement came following US President Joe Biden welcomed Ukrainian President Zelenskiy in Washington and pledged him continued US support and help.

He said that their objective is not to spin the flywheel conflict but to end this war. The Russian President said that they will make efforts for an end of this conflict, and the sooner the better of course.
