DAMASCUS, Syria: Russia’s air force conducted airstrikes on two militant sites outside the Al-Tanf area in Syria, according to the Russian state news agency RIA.
The strikes targeted militants who had recently left the vicinity of the Al-Tanf zone, which is near the border with Jordan and houses a US military base.
Captain Oleg Ignasyuk, deputy head of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria, stated that Russian forces identified and attacked the militant locations. The exact coordinates were not disclosed.
