Ukrainian hospitals under Russian attack
Ukrainian hospitals have been hit by Russian strikes several times since Russia started its aggression against the country in February. An attack on Mariupol hospital left three dead in March. Ukraine and its Western allies had strongly condemned the strike; however, it was termed a staged attack by Russia.
Two other civilians were killed in a shelling of a clinic and a residential building in the northeastern Kharkiv region, according to local governor Oleg Syengubov.
He said that Russian jets shelled Kupiansk, damaging a clinic and a nine-storey building and killing two people. The deceased were a 68-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman.
The governor further said on social media that the enemy has once again tried to achieve with murder and terror what it was unable to get for 9 months. –APP/AFP
