MOSCOW: A Russian court has sentenced a man to twelve years in jail for sending missile parts to the United States on the orders of the US intelligence services, Western media reported on Friday.
The Federal Security Service (FSB) has stated that Sergei Kabanov has smuggled components through Latvia to a US firm based in Alabama, which is controlled by the US Defense Department.

Kabanov has been convicted by a court in the city of Tver for smuggling parts to the US used in Russian air defence missile systems and radar-based weapons systems.
TASS news agency in its surveillance footage, showed the moment of Kabanov’s arrest by FSB officials. It showed him and another person moving a small wooden box from one car to another.
