KYIV: Russia launched 23 drones and a cruise missile overnight on Ukraine, Ukraine’s air force said on Monday, adding that its air defence systems intercepted the missile and 18 of the drones before they reached their targets.
The air force deployed anti-aircraft defence in at least 9 regions across Ukraine, as communicated through the Telegram messaging app. However, the accuracy of this information could not be independently verified by Reuters.
The Air Force refrained from providing specific details about the fate of the drones that evaded destruction or whether there were any resulting damages from the assault.
