Russia Claims Killing of Two Ukrainian Generals, Dozens of Officers in Kramatorsk Strike

MOSCOW: Russia announced on Thursday that its forces had reportedly carried out a strike on a restaurant in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk earlier this week, resulting in the deaths of two Ukrainian generals and approximately 50 officers. The Russian defense ministry issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack.

According to the statement, the strike on June 27 in Kramatorsk resulted in the elimination of two Ukrainian generals and up to 50 officers from the Ukrainian army. The Russian defense ministry also asserted that the attack led to the deaths of around 20 foreign mercenaries and advisers.

Russia Avoids to Share Further Details About Attack

The Russian defense ministry did not provide further information regarding the circumstances or the specific targets involved in the attack.
